We are trying to integrate Milestone with our application which works with absolute angles for Pan and Tilt. We have realized that pan and tilt values used in PTZMoveAbsoluteCommandData do not correspond to a fix value angle as it seems to depend on the corresponding camera driver. Is there any way of knowing which angles correspond to those values? For example, in an AXIS Q6128-E, tilt value -1 is 20º and +1 is -90º. However in a SNP-3371H, +1 is 0º and -1 is 180º.
Unfortunately we have no testing or knowledge gathering of this information at Milestone Systems.
So there is no way to know what does each value [-1, +1] of pan and tilt corresponds to in degrees (º)?
Outside testing each camera model I do not think there is a way to know.
