Push a video feed to a web page for public viewing.

I would like to push a video feed from my Milestone Corporate system to a web page for public viewing. This will be a construction camera the is being recorded but we would like to have a feed from it put on a web page. What would be the best way to do this?

XProtect has a feature that may help: Milestone Mobile.

As you may know, you have 2 sorts of clients to the Mobile server: Handheld devices (Smartphones and tablets) on the one hand, and ordinary web browsers on the other hand.

What you need to do is:

  • Set up Milestone Mobile
  • Create a user with rather limited rights (only right: See the one camera in question)
  • Start a browser, connect to the Mobile Server, login
  • Show the camera, go to full screen

That should be it :slight_smile:

The only problem is that you need to login to the Mobile Client, we want to have the public to be able to view the video without haveing to login.
