Don’t know if this is device pack related or 2020 related but since changing to the new version I have to go to each of the 183 cameras and change them to “Max frames between keyframe mode” to custom as when the setting is defined by driver the image is very pixelated, also it appears unlike previously the camera settings do not match the settings in Milestone.
So if i set the frame rate to 20 and max bit rate to 4096 i would have expected that these settings would transfer through when you add the camera to milestone.
As this is not related to software development with the MIP SDK, which is the focus of this forum, please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.
I would argue that it is kind of as this seems to be a very common issue that people are reporting on on all forums but not getting an answer, i even have a ticket open on it and beign asked what camrea model i am using… this issue is purley related to Hik cameras and i have a site with possibly 30 different types and its the same on all
The developer forum is focused on development work using the MIP SDK or the protocols, it is not the right forum for this question. I hope you will get the help you need through the Support Community or through a Milestone Care Support case.
