Regarding access from another segment SmartClient 2017R2

We are currently evaluating Express +.

The network segment of the recording server is 192.168.0.0/24, and Smart Client of the same segment can be accessed without problem. However, it will fail to connect from another Smart Client on the other end of the router.

I’ve registered another segment in the local IP range, but can not we just do that?
