The current version of your RestAPI appears to just be for configuration of the system. Are there plans to expand it? More specifically will there by PTZ functionality?
I am looking to send PTZ commands to our AXIS cameras using the Milestone API. I wish to trigger PTZ presets via Milestone as well as sending pan/tilt/zoom coordinates to the cameras.

You cannot do this with the Rest API currently and it is not in the plans for the upcoming version.
I do not know if you find it relevant but using the MIP Library I would recommend the PTZandPresets sample. https://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html?base=samples/componentsamples/ptzandpresets/readme.html&tree=tree_2.html
Alright I was hoping it would be part of the RestAPI since Im familar but I may check out the MIPSDK in time.
Can you direct me to more resources describing what functionality will be available in the next releases of the RestAPI? Im not finding anything documentation other then their original release info in Novemeber 2021.

Our plan is to provide all the features known in the current Protocol Integration, with modern protocols in the VMS API. This is planned to happen gradually, in the coming releases.
