SC Plugin gets live/playback video from another server/site in non-federation

Hi,

Can the SC plugin get live/playback video from another server(non-federated) standalone?

E.g.:

Two separate Milestone installations, let’s say Site1 and Site2.

When SC logins to Site1, the custom plugin plays live/playback video. Can it also try to connect to Site2 and play live/playback?

Can component integration run inside the plugin, to connect and get live/playback videos?

No. The Smart Client will login on Milestone Federated Architecture (MFA) but otherwise not be able to login on multiple sites.

We would expect that if you try to do a component integration inside your plugin you will end up creating conflicts, we must advise against trying.
