SDK R3 compile, running on R2 system

Hi,

Will an application compiled using the latest SDK, 2016 R3 (32-bit), be compatible with a system running Corporate 2016 R2 (64-bit)?

Or do we need to download and complile with the R2 version?

The recommendatiion is: Use the newest MIP SDK.
