Search engine integrated into Customer Manager (Milestone Xprotect Managment Client)

@Milestone Developer @System Development

Is it possible, that a search of data such as names, MAC address, it can be integrated within servers and devices, and cameras, available as applicable model. It turns out that when cameras are looking for by name, is it takes a long time if you have a longlist of names of cameras, to resolve this, a browser on the administrator client is enough. On the other hand, when camera is entering a recorder, the alert that a camerais recorded on this recorder can be received, but it turns out that cameras by cameras, should be sought to see which is the address that matches the entry process cameras, where they are mostly different IP, and the case is usually occur in cameras samsung which are repaired.Is it possible, that a search of data such as names, MAC address, it can be integrated within servers and devices, and cameras, available as applicable model. There is currently no way to send a search as described to the server. You will have to manually go through the cameras either in a Management Client plugin or using the Configuration API (on XProtect Corporate or Expert).

Thank you very much for taking your time to respond in an excellent way, Peter Posselt Vergmann. That’s the idea, if it is possible to develop an API, in this case, staff who find out about the structures of the database servers, cameras and other devices,would be very useful to solve cases such as those mentioned.

We will add it to our feature request list, but I cannot promise if and when such an API would be implemented.

It would be helpful if they added this function.

Estimated, @Peter Posselt Vergmann (Milestone Systems) where we can see the list requests for features, to vote on the characteristics better?

The list is for internal use only and therefore not publicly available.
