Smart Client - Playback - Limit Time Range

In the Smart Client, Playback workspace, the timeline currently displays or otherwise makes available all history for a given camera.

Is there a method by which the timeline can be limited to about 1 hour or so from the current time?

This is for a set of users who are basically limited to seeing video from their current shift. … and not from any previous shifts.

We would be glad to use a standard “smart client profile” option if available. Otherwise, is it possible to develop a plug-in that could override the time selection?

No, you can’t develop this.
