StatusViewer with StableFPS

We are using corporate 2019 R1 with MIPS SDK 2019 R1 and have added stablefps to test.

We are using statusviewer and see it connect to server and receive events such as connected, enabled ,motion detected and stopped.

Now when we restart the event server, some time we don’t receive motion detected/stopped events in statusviewer.

Its reproducible always.

  1. some time even if just restart event server

  2. some time stop event server for 5mins and start event server, we don’t receive events

  3. some time after multiple restarts at random intervals, we don’t get events

How to get this solved?

I ran a test. This never fails to work for me. I have restarted the Event Server (ES), I have stopped the ES, waited 5 minutes and started the ES.

When the StatusViewer sample application returns to normal operation and says “Connected”, the messages for all devices, including stablefps based devices, starts coming in.

Please clarify; when you see the issue has the StausViewer returned to “Connected” state, or is the perhaps staying the the “Not connected, retrying..” state?

You say you can reproduce always, is there a way to reproduce that always cause the issue? The three options might sometimes cause the issue, I wonder if you have a way to reproduce that is always working when you say you can always reproduce?

We are logging in to statusviewer with different window user, not the current logged in user.

This was also what I did. (A coincidence as I would often use the current user.)
