Test of the assumption that many cameras were connected to

Hi All!

I think about the new product of the surveillance camera product.

By the test process of the product, we want to test when many cameras were connected.

However, I do not have many cameras.

Is there any good idea?

I think the normal scenario is that you assume that all the cameras are connected to the recording server(s), so you would assume this for all cameras in the configuration you get when logging in. Getting a status for the cameras, rather than just assuming they are all OK, is the subject of the StatusViewer sample.

Thank you for your reply.

Sorry for lack of my explanation.

Actually what we want to do is a test to export plenty of video data of many cameras from XProtect server.

We would like to confirm the performance and transition of resource in our new surveillance system (LTO Tape drive & LTFS software/Archive software) when video data of many cameras are exported.

Therefore we would like to prepare for some test environment in which many cameras are connected physically or virtually.

Please kindly give us your advice on how to create this kind of test environment for the above purpose.

Perhaps you can try the StausViewer sample, and if it fits all is fine, if it does not fit you can explain what you would like differently.
