The video quality when playing in reverse seems to be worse in XProtect 2019 R1 relative to XProtect 2018 R3. Both in Smart Client and a self developed application with the SDK.

If you observe a performance change in the Smart Client we expect the same performance change in a MIP SDK based application. I suggest you report this in the Support Community and adds information about the hardware, the camera(s) and the settings, then maybe Milestone will be able to troubleshoot or debug the situation.
