Hi,
We have developed an integration with Universal Driver but faced the limitation of using more than 64 cameras using this procedure as we cannot configure more than Universal Driver per instance and the unique instance is limited to 64 cameras. Is there any way to avoid this limitation either with more than one Universal Driver instance or with more channels per instance?
I believe that drivers are limited to 64 cameras, not just the universal driver. Even if not so for all, it is true for the universal driver, it is limited to 64 cameras.
The use of universal driver is in Milestone Technical Support not considered a development question and there is probably more help to find in the Support Community should it be needed. - https://force.milestonesys.com/support/MccSupportCommunity

Hi Bo,
Thank you very much for your answer. A colleague pointed me it could maybe related to the license, I mean, if a license must be purchased for each connected device (by it’s IP address I presume), if you do install e.g. 2 Device licenses, could you be able to use 2 Universal Driver instances? maybe that’s my problem. If so, could you confirm if e.g. I have a device with 128 cameras and cannot use one Universal Driver, if I can configure two Universal Driver instances against same IP address or I must make that device to have more than one IP address for things to work?
