Use a previous version of MIP SDK

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to use an earlier version of MIPSDK along with a later version of the XProtect Smart Client

For example … I would like to use the MIP SDK 2016 R3, but I use the XProtect Smart Client 2017 R2, and if possible, where do I find the previous versions of the MIP SDK?

I would like to use the MIP SDK 2016 R3 as it is used in the example courses, and I saw that the forms used in the Client Plugin are “.cs” and for min it would be more interesting,

already those of the MIP SDK 2018 R1, which I am currently using are “.XAML” and I am having some difficulties with them …

You are welcome to use older MIPSDK with newer Smart Clients, it is supposed to work just fine. As we release 3 times a year now, we cannot require you to re-compile your plugin for each of our releases.

I just checked the download link for the current versions.

We only distribute the latest version - but the 2018R1 version have same samples as before, plus the new ones based on WPF.

Both Forms and WPF are supported on the 2018R1 version.
