We are using multicast to stream video to the client. On both Smart Client 2014 and 2016, whenever a new video stream is requested, it usually takes 10 seconds before the video starts playing, whereas the audio always starts playing immediately. If we force the Smart Client to retrieve unicast stream only, there is no such problem. I also used Wireshark to check the IGMP join and leave messages and everything seems to be fine. Is there any way to start the video streaming faster?
