videoOS has stopped working

Hi, I working with Xprotect corporate 2014d. One of my smart clients sometimes blocks showing the message “videoOS has stopped working” any idea what the issue can be and how to solve it. The other clients keep working.

If both the crashing SmartClient and one of the surviving SmartClients show the same content (=same view), then you ought to look at the PC.

Or simply try to upgrade to SmartClient 2016.

I am having the same problem: smartclient crashes.

My system is Corporate 9.0a. Smartclient 9.0c.

In this case, what new version will be compatible?

in General, what smartclient version is compatible with the Recording Server version? Assuming the smartclient was installed with the system, and it is to be upgraded, while the system remains at the same version.

i mean my system is Corporate 7.0a. typo.

Same here. Xprotect Professional 2016 and client x64 in windows 7 and windows 10 machines suddenly crash immediately after open it. Same results upgrading to 2016 R2 both server and clients. It was working ok until a few days ago.

I am doing demo on site XPCO 2016 and smart client is 2016 R2 (upgraded few weeks ago) and I also got this issue randomly.

The OS is Windows 10 with the latest updated (CPU i7 4790, 8GB, GTX730)

I thought this issue is occured only my site..

Please share us why this happen and how to solve it.

A generally good advise is to update graphics drivers in your PC, this is especially important with 2016 and 2016R2 Smart Clients.
