Milestone XProtect Professional+ 2019 R2 (v13.2a, Build 653)
I think there is some issue with the View Group permissions, or I might be doing something wrong, so thought I’d ask here…
In Management, under Client → View Groups
I have 2 Views in there. Let’s call it View A and View B
Under Security → Roles
I have 2 Roles in there. Let’s call it Role A and Role B
Role A - under Overall Security for View Group, I left this blank. Then under View Group (bottom tab) - I have ticked ‘Read’ for View A and View B
This confirmed as working. I can see both views in the Client.
Now for Role B, under Overall Security for View Group, again, I left this blank. Then under View Group (bottom tab) - I have ticked ‘Read’ for View B only, leaving View A unchecked for Read.
But when I log on, I can still see View A and also View B
How do I get Role B to see View B only and for View A not to come up**?** Am I missing something obvious or is this a bug?
