Want To Turn Camera On Map Based On View Angle

I need to track the view angle of cameras so I can adjust the way a camera is pointing on a map. I can poll the ptzStatus through the Onvif Bridge every 2 seconds but I wondering if there was a better way to do this through the Onvif Bridge.

Onvif Bridge does not return PTZ position information.
