We are integrating with XProtect Corporate 2016 R3. What approach we can take to get authentication from the Management Client.

We do not want to go via NTLM path. One of the documents available online states that we can use only windows credential for Corporate (https://www.milestonesys.com/contentassets/b65834ac39704f7c8837755c391efddf/acic_milestone_integration_1.4_en.pdf ). Please confirm

Basic users can be used. If doing protocol integration you must use SSL.
