While try to run the sample, TriggerGenericEvent and TriggerGenericEventStream, I realized that XProtect professional+ system is not listening on the port 1234 and 1235. How to activate the listening?

Enabled checkbox is off in the default setting so please check on it.

By default the Generic Events are not enabled, so if you have not checked this I am guessing this is the solution.

Can you please check if you set up following setting?

Please check the Generic Event settings, you find them here;

Start ManagementClient → Tools → Options → Generic Events tab

Hi Rie Kito,

Thank you so much that we are able to use port 1234 for the communication after enabled it.
However, we are still not able to activate the listening on the port 1235 even after enabled it.
Could you advise? Thank you.

Regards,
Jinmin

Please verify following settings; check if the data sources using port number 1234 and 1235 are both enabled and check that you put the IP address of the sender PC in the “Allowed external IP4 addresses” list box.

Hi Rie Kito,

We are able to use the port 1235 already, thank you very much.
