Why can't I change my license? My devices are telling me that my license is invalid

Hello Milestone Devs,

I’m currently working on a plugin for Combain. Recently, my license expired, which means I can no longer test my devices in the Smart Client.

I attempted to change the license by following the steps outlined here:

Everything worked up to step 4, where I encountered the error message attached.

Additionally, when I try to enable automatic license activation in the Management Client, I receive an “Access Denied” message.

I’m using XProtect version 2025 R1.
