Playback take too long time to get the video (Enterprise 2014 8.6d), and if I am searcing for a vedio from more than 1 day ago it takes several minutes (Sometimes about 20 minutes)
This is probably related to the overall size and performance of the storage used for the Archive. I would recommend checking the performance of the archive storage with the Windows Resource monitor.
If multiple Smart Clients are requesting footage for Playback while the Recording Server is archiving, the system may be performing below specifications. A very large archive will require more resources, so check the Disk performance and queue length for the Milestone Image Server and Recording Server processes. CPU, RAM and Network performance may also play a role in this, so check these are not overloaded either.
