XProtect Smart Client fails to import video

In XProtect Go I am able to preview video and configure the camera. However after upgrading Smart Client last month I haven’t been able to record anything because it fails to import video. I can only see an old still shot from the time it used to work before upgrading.

Why is Smart Client not “listening” to XProtect Go?

Certainly you should be able to use any recent version Smart Client with your XProtect Go server. This, however sounds like a connectivity issue. Check all the Milestone Services are running. Then try using the Smart Client from the server and finally verify the connectivity from external connections.
