2017 r2 Smart Client - Login Issue

Last night I downloaded XProtect VMS Express 2017 r2 as discussed with Chris from Milestone Support Team. I was able to successfully install, upgrade and activate Express 2017 r2 by loading a new license file he sent me. Provided great support!

I attempted to login using the new Smart Client 2017 r2 and I could not login again which was the same exact issue I had a few months ago with Essentials 2016 r1. (VMS has been operating on Windows 10 which was recently updated & patched before upgrading to Express 2017) Please see attached picture of interface window & error message.

When trying to login with the Smart Client the error message I receive at the bottom of the page is: “Failed to connect. Check Server Address”.

If someone is familiar with this issue and can assist I would greatly appreciate it.
