We had previously asked if it was possible using the config api to create recording rules. We are able to automate many other tasks using the config api, but we cannot set cameras to record on motion via the config api , by programatically creating a rule. Will this be possible in the upcoming 2019 R2 sdk ?
Unfortunately it is not possible in the 2019 R2 SDK.
So in general, it is not possible to create a rule from SDK?
In general it is not, unfortunately because to make/edit rules is basically complicated and so MIP SDK does not support.
