I’m testing the demo plugin and the demo Access Control System Simulator and the doors and everything is imported but I’m not sure why the Management Client is not updating the status of the plugin. In the associated cameras I can see the doors but the Enabled option is not clickable.
Secondly, I was unable to use the doors in smart view, please note that I haven’t connected any camera to my setup, not sure if it’s mandatory.
If I don’t have a camera is there any way to just let me do the work, dummy camera is ok at least I finish the integration development.
In Management Client, the enable option for doors is disabled when there are no more door licenses available. Is this your case?
When adding an Access Monitor view in Smart Client, at least one camera is mandatory to configure it, to be shown on the Access Monitor itself. You can use a camera assigned to the door or any other camera in your VMS. Stablefps driver, as Rie points out, is a good solution when you have no access to real cameras. Let me know how it goes, worth a try.
no actually it was a bit of both, i got a license and i installed some dummy cameras and it’s working “cameras from file playback didn’t work for me and didn’t want to waste time on it”
