Access control in smart client 2017 R3

Hello,

I have problem with server Milestone Essential+ in free license.

In communication between me and server i found this.

That means - “Unauthorized: Access was deny, because you have bad login/password. You dont have permision for view this adress or webpage using by this login/password”

But im sure the login with password is correct. Basic user was create after completed install Milestone Essential+ and he is in role “Administrators”. Password added..

PUBLIC ACCESS IS ENABLED WITH RIGHT PUBLIC IP

On router is setting <wan_ip>:2323 → <local_ip>:80 and others ports like:

<wan_ip>:8081 → <local_ip>:8081

<wan_ip>:8082 → <local_ip>:8082

<wan_ip>:7563 → <local_ip>:7563

<wan_ip>:22331 → <local_ip>:22331

<wan_ip>:1237 → <local_ip>:1237

<wan_ip>:9001 → <local_ip>:9001

On webpage in chrome <wan_ip>:2323 is “IIS Windows Server”

And everything works in LAN, but access from WAN has this problem on Smart client 2017 R3. Mobile and webpage version on ports 8081,8082 works great.

For login in SMART CLIENT 2017 R3 im using

PC: <WAN_IP>:2323

verification: basic authentication

login/password: /

Im really sorry for my bad english and thanks for help..

I suspect networking/routing/DNS is the issue. Please note that Web client and mobile clients are designed with WAN usage in mind, the Smart Client is not. Most often I see Smart Client used together with some sort of VPN that solves all the routing.

As this is not related to software development with the MIP SDK, which is the focus of this forum, please ask again in the support community, you should get better help from the partners using the support community.
