Add custom filters for Analytics events

If I want to add my own custom filters for the Analytics events before it fires the event, how can we do this?

If I create database script to stop the data from getting populated in Central.Alarms and Central.Alarms_Active tables based on certain conditions, in this way can I manage the event? In my case whenever there is an Analytics event I am using the output to open the door.

I am sorry but I fail to understand your question. You mentioned that you want to add your own custom filters before events fire, can you please explain a little bit more about it? It would be great if you could add examples.
