Can we add the same Hardware using the different Network IP Addresses considering one Primary IP and one Secondary IP?
For example, If our Network Video Recorder(NVR) is connected to LAN2 and Wifi Network then Is there possibility that we can add that NVR into Milestone XProtect Management client using both the Network IP Addresses as Primary and Secondary IP address respectively?
If a camera device or NVR device is already added to a recording server it cannot be added again. The recording server will reject adding the device even if it has another IP address:port if it receives the same MAC address.
There is a workaround in that you can add the same camera again if you have more than one recording server, one time to each recording server. I believe this workaround exists as an option fitting for certain redundancy scenarios.
