Alarm not firing in 2018

Hi, we’ve upgraded the server to 2018 Version 12.3a .

After sending analytic event via protocol integration , we get status 200 from the server but the alarm is not being triggered (and its defined on the camera).

from the event server log we see ex of : ".. no signature message parts were specified from messages with the : http://schemas.videoos/managementServerService/2008/06/Vmo/01/ImanagementServerService/TriggerPluginEventBulkVMOExceptionDetailFaults .. " …

can you suggest the cause?

I have never seen this error before. Is this the exact wording? (Please copy paste a full log line for me or perhaps attach a log file if not too big).

Does the alarms and alarms view otherwise appear to function as normal?

  1. When i click the “test event” from the management app.

the alarm is being triggered and i can see it on the alarm list in the client.

  1. When i send the event through code using a socket (on port 9090) i can see it on the event list window, so it seems the issue is the alarm triggering of this event.

this flow worked fine till now - till we’ve installed ver 2018 Version 12.3a .

A sanity check; is the Analytics interface on port 9090 enabled? In the Management Client go to Tools → Options and check.

If yes, please show me the Alarm Definition you have set up.
