Hello everyone,
we wanted to upgrade to latest milestone version 2024R2 but we went into some difficulties during installation.
I wrote already post about something similiar before, but this answer didnt make sense for me:
"They Certificate though seems to have issues or maybe some rights to the CERT store,.
Make sure the Service Account which is running the Milestone Services has full control over your Certificate. ( Certificate manager → private Cert. → manage private keys )"
i set the service account or administrator account during installation, but it doesnt help in any case.
When i uninstall the Xprotect and install it again, it always fail on isntallation of API gateway. It leads to DISM shutdown error failed. I tried to google up little bit and it looks like it needs to have enabled “Websocket protocol communication” in windows features, which i try to enable, but i ran into other windows error like " The referenced assembly could not be found Error: 0x80073701" which i caused by probably corrupted windows update or something similiar?
I tried to extract all the missing updates and install them ,and also do scannow, scanhealth and other commands , but its didnt find anything.
Also, when the installation somehow proceeded, i am not able to create any alarm definitions in my xprotect client. This is how it looks like when i want to create new one
We are using Windows Server 2019 which should be supportedfrom what i see on list of supported systems, and we are using XProtect Corporate 2024R2 with full license, and we dont use essential version of the product.
And after minutes of chaotic trying, its somehow created , but dont work correctly. What can be wrong here?
