We are sending a PTZMoveAbsolute command across. This command works with several other cameras, but not a new camera we just added. We were wondering if there’s any kind of logs that show what might be going on and why the camera isn’t moving. We are able to communicate with the camera and send PTZMoveStart/PTZMoveStop commands along with retrieve video. It just seems that the PTZMoveAbsolute command is not making it through.
Unfortunately there is no function in SDK.
I’m not referring to accessing the logs through the SDK. We have access to the Milestone host machine. So I was wondering if there are logs on that machine that we can view to see when commands come through and what might be happening if some of the commands don’t appear to be working.
