AV1 codec with new device pack 13.9.2170.1 issues

I have an Axis Q6358-LE camera with firmware 12.4.6 and I just installed this latest device pack to try out AV1 vs H265 on this camera. I am running Milestone Corporate 2025 R3 with smart client 2025 R2 (no R3 yet)

I am seeing more data usage with AV1 and smart client diagnostic overlay shows it as a JPEG stream. Frame rate drops significantly as well. Here are 2 screenshots that show data usage realtime pulled directly from my Peplink modem with H265 enabled and AV1 enabled.
