I can’t see video in a Axis Q6055 PTZ camera. I have installed XProtect Expert 2019 R2 - Versión 13.2a. In Recording Server I have 10.3a Device Pack. In Management Server I have 8.1Device Pack. I have my app is in another PC, that is made with MIP SDK 2020 R3 (x86). I’ve tried to install in the PC of my app, MilestoneXProtectVMSDriverInstaller119b81.exe and MilestoneXProtectVMSDriverInstaller120a83.exe, but it doesn’t work this camera. I can see other cameras with muy app. In Milestone client, I can see video, but in my app no.
First make sure you can see the video in the Smart Client. Please test with the Smart Client in the same PC as you would want your app to work.
Please note that the driver pack is needed at the recording server(s) but not anywhere else.
There is one explanation that will fit directly. The MIP SDK in x86 build (32 bit) will not be able to play video based on h265. If your camera uses this try to switch to h264 and retest. Even if this does not fit it would be interesting if you can get the camera to work for your app if you try to change setting, try to experiment on this.
We tested the Smart Client and it worked. We check that the camera plays video in H.264. In Recording Server we have 10.3a Device Pack, should we change it to 12.0a? What else could we check? Thanks.
The camera still doesn’t work. I can see it in Milestone, but not in my application. I can see the rest of the cameras in my application. I rebuilt my application with MIPSDK_Redist_Installer_x86_2022R1.
If we might try to reproduce we would need more information. Could you please send a screen capture of Setting and Streams tabs from the Management Client showing the setup of this camera?
