Best zero config option of configuring Onvif cameras on a map

I would like to query a customer’s cameras through Onvif and display them on a map without any user configuration. The best way I can think of doing this is to have the customer enter the latitude and longitude coordinates into the name of the camera. I was wondering if there is perhaps a better way to accomplish this task in the Onvif/Milestone architecture.

In the Milestone XProtect Management Client you can enter positioning information including GPS coordinates for a camera. There is no way to ask the camera itself for this information currently.
