Using the analytics event trigger, I am able to send an alarm with an overlay to the VMS system (TriggerAnalyticsEventXML) . However, the overlay is only able to display the initial overlay that triggered the alarm. Is there a way to send multiple bounding boxes that constantly tracks a target without sending multiple alarms? I understand that using metadata is one way (BoundingBoxMetadataProvider) but that requires a separate license for the metadata device. Is there any other way?
Metadata is the solution. Metadata can be streamed so that bounding boxes can follow what is on the video images. Analytics Events will most likely not perform on high frequency in the submitting of them, and as you point out then you will see multiple alarms if you base alarms on the Analytics Events
