Can I use a connection string in SQL in Milestone Xprotect?

For example Create a Connection String and Working with SQL Server LocalDB. Thank us so much.

No, Milestone do not support interacting directly with the SQL database and we definitely don’t recommend doing so as it could cause inconsistencies between the database and the XProtect services.

And, if sql is on a network shared server?. I Think is no diference about it.

The issue is not about getting access to the SQL server, but that changing data in it directly might lead to inconsistencies, so where the SQL server resides does not make any difference.
