Can we use .NET instead of .NetFramework when implementing Plugin Integration and Component Integration?

Hello. I’m currently using the MIP SDK to implement Plugin Integration and Component Integration with the older .NET Framework 4.8. I recently discovered that the MIP SDK environment supports .NET (MIP SDK Documentation). If this is the case, from which version of XProtect can we use .NET for development?

No, the MIP SDK still uses .NET Framework.

I know that certain methods from the MIP SDK have been ported in a limited way and only for Milestone internal development, if this reflects in the MIP SDK Documentation in a way that suggest you can use .NET beyond .NET Framework it is a mistake. If you have examples I will discuss with Milestone Development if the documentation should be corrected.

I found this documentation from (MIP SDK Documentation).

This is an old part of the documentation, this is written when the only .NET is what we today know as .NET Framework.

Still I will discuss with Milestone Development whether to change this. Thank you for finding the example when I asked.
