Cannot mouse Control in Smart Client HTML Page

I develop web page by OSS “Openlayers” that is JavaScript to control Map.

Openlayers’s URL is https://openlayers.org/

Openlayers sample Web page(https://openlayers.org/en/latest/examples/simple.html)

add to Smart Client “HTML Page”.

I cannot move in the map by using mouse control in Smart Client.

but I can move in IE10.

I fount the article in developer forum

“Javascript/HTML5 canvas operation trouble”

I did this solution in the report, but my problem is not solved.

My software environment is

OS: windows 10

XP:XProtect 2017R1

Please let me know the reason and solution.

These might be useful -

The Web Browser control in the Smart Client runs very different compared to inside Internet Explorer - for the concrete problem I have no idea if or how changing behavior using feature control registry entries can make the mouse dragging work.

Thank you for your replying.

I tried to do your two solutions in the report, but my problem was not solved.

However, I found “leafletjs” of JavaScript to control Map.

http://leafletjs.com/

I was able to move in the map of “leafletjs” by using mouse control in Smart Client.

I will try to develop web page with “leafletjs”.

Hi,Bo

I researched more about my problem.

I was not able to move in the map of “Openlayers4” by using mouse control in Smart Client.

but I was able to move in the map of “Openlayers2”.

I do not know the reason.

allthough,I will try to develop web page with “leafletjs” or “Openlayers2”.

May I ask a question?

Will my problem be resolved in XProtect 2017R2?

Best regards,

kiyo & Rie

The problem will not be solved in XProtect 2017R2. - Perhaps the most accurate answer would be that I do not know!

I have not reproduced and got an in-depth understanding of the issue and neither has Milestone Development, this means that nobody has worked actively in developing a fix, and based on these facts I judge it to be very unlikely that the behavior in XProtect 2017R2 is any different compared to the current version.

The IE container in Milestone Smart Client is the Microsoft IE container, if you search the internet there are many other settings (Internet Feature Controls) which can be applied to this. I am not sure if there is a setting that will fix the issue, but I am guessing there might be.
