Changing multi basic user password without login to each stations

Hi Everyone,

I have a question, I have registerED 30 work stations, each one has a login id and pw.

If I don’t want to go to each stations to change their pw, is there anyway I can access the database to change the pw.

If I can access and update the database, which table and column contains the pw?

Let me clarify, are you using 20 different VMS servers? Or are you using 20 workstations for Smart Client as clients?

We are using 30+ VMS servers

You cannot change the passwords directly in the database. However, the Config API supports change of password, so please have a look at this: https://doc.developer.milestonesys.com/html/index.html?base=gettingstarted/intro_configurationapi.html&tree=tree_4.html
