Changing password of ONVIF Bridge service user

I have dealt with customers that have the policy that EVERY password at the company must be changed periodically. So let’s say we chose a user to run the ONVIF Bridge service when we installed the bridge (either a Windows user or a Basic user). Then, 60 days later, that user’s password changes. How do we update the Bridge with the new password? Do we need to? I don’t see any UI for it in Management Client.

Hi Mark,

The password can be changed from the tray controller of the OnvifBridge. Right click on the try controller → Configuration →

In the Management client, you can configure more users(other than the one configured in the tray manager) that has access to the OnvifBridge Server.

Thank you. Is there any way to change passwords of Bridge client users other than removing them and re-adding them with the new password?

Hi Mark,

Your assumption is correct - you should “removing them and re-adding them with the new password”.

Unfortunately there is no method other than this.
