COnnect SC to a rtsps stream

Hi, Is there a way to connect xprotect to a rtsp and if possible a rtspS stream.

We are trying to create an end-to-end fully secure stream from a camera to our software then to xprotect.
I cannot find a way to connect our rtsp or rtsps stream to xprotect.
Is it possible?

You have two options:

  1. Using universal driver

  2. using open source rtsp driver: RTSP Driver for Milestone XProtect - MS Community Plugins

The previous answer from Christoph is correct.

Additionally: If the available drivers do not meet your requirements, you can implement your own integration using the MIP Driver Framework.

This allows you to build a custom driver that handles the RTSP stream exactly as needed.

Ok thanks, I’ll try the 2 options. Seems appropriate for rtsp but is it suitable for rtsps?

@odonaview-P open source driver now supports RTSPS.
