Corporate Management Server Renaming

Hello everybody can anyone please assist i have been tasked with renaming 6 Management Corporate Servers all for the same client different sites.

I have ran a few tests using a VM and i am having issues with the database even if i have dropped the old server name is SQL and added a new server name but i am still unable to connect to the database.
