We want Smart Client users to be able to use a custom device or internet authentication to login to Milestone Smart Client.
The MultiUserEnvironment does not seem to provide an other options than basic and AD logon.
How can we force the Smart Client to login as a particular role? The idea is to combine AD/basic user with something else.
Is is possible to change the active role when the Smart Client is running? We could enable/disable features on the fly?

It is not possible to change the active role when the Smart Client is running. But how about Smart Client Profile? You can make a new profile for a certain user role to see limited views on Smart Client.

Hi Rie,
The .zip link that Bo posted is not available. Is this part of the SDK? If yes, where is it?
Thanks.
