Device works in ONVIF Test Tool but not in Milestone XProtect

Hi,

I am trying to develop a proof of concept ONVIF server application that will work with Milestone. The UDP/RTP video playback works with the ONVIF Device Test Tool, but in XProtect it fails to do the handshake properly. I’m sure the problem is on my side but I ran out of debugging options so I’m asking for help here.

In the Milestone device handling logs I see “Camera 1 Device communication error (OpenMediaStreamException). Error: Unable to open media stream”.

I’m attaching a sample Wireshark capture of adding the device.

I am sorry, you were in the right forum the first time because there is no support for doing Onvif device integration in the MIP SDK.
