Disable Hardware (Camera) makes it invisible in Management client.

Hello,

I am testing one of our applications under XProtect 2022 R3 and I noticed that when I disable a camera with our app, then the camera is no longer displayed in the management client on the recorder. In the camera folder the camera (disabled) is still visible but as hardware it is gone in the client.

I then tried the “Config API Client” sample and here it is exactly the same. Disable makes the hardware disappear in the management client.

Is there a way around this or is this a bug in the management client?

This is a new feature in the Management Client.

Try to expand the Filter and enable the “Show disabled devices” option.
