Display event from access control in XProtect viewer

Hi every body,

I’m a project manager within an acces control company for professional users.

We need display a list of access control event like “authorized identification”, “opened door” … in XProtect software along with video managed by XProtect.

We are aware of your XProtect Access solution and MIP SDK, but we are some difficulties to find our need.

Can you help us to start, please ?

Hi.

If you want to use Milestone Access Control Framework, then please see following links;

On the other hand, if you will not use Milestone Access Control Framework, then please ask us again.

Thank you, I’m watching this …

Our access control system includes a MODBUS server which gives the real time status of inputs and outputs (ex: door contact).

Currently, we are interfacing with Prysm Software (access control monitor) which integrates a MODBUS client.

XProtect VMS does he also have a MODBUS client to synchronise and display all states of I/O ?

There is no support for MODBUS directly in the VMS, there is no special functionality for MODBUS in the MIP SDK.

I believe there are Milestone Partners who have made integrations with MODBUS (as you mention). You will be able to develop the functionality yourself or use an integration like you mention.
