Does MIPS 2016 R2 work with XProtect Corporate 2016 R3?

hi,

We have compiled our integration against MIPS 2016 R2 and tested against Corporate 2016 R2. A client has asked if this will work with Corporate 2016 R3. Will it? Do we need to recompile against the R3 SDK?

The key here is the Milestone promise: Solutions developed with previous versions of the MIP SDK work in the same way with the new versions of the MIP SDK and XProtect products.

So while it is a clear recommendation to (always) use the newest MIP SDK available you can expect your developed solutions to work in “future” versions of XProtect.
