Hi team, I am trying to turn an event out of a custom metadata device in an alarm so that it can generate a warning to the operator.
I can get the event in the rule engine (and create a log entry, for instance), I see the events correctly listed (and added) in the event section of the metadata channel in the management client, but I cannot create an alarm based on any event linked to a device other than Cameras when defining the alarm in the management client. Looks like it is possible to create an alarm based on a device event only if the device is a camera.
Is there anything I can do in my driver to get the alarm creation process to list my metadata device as source of the event?
