Dear Kevin,
sorry, but I need to ask a few questions before I can help you. You are mentioning RTSP and port 554 - but what are you trying to achieve? Where do you connect to, what kind of metadata to you want to retrieve?
Rgds,
Torsten

Dear Torsten,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
We are developing plugin used for people counting cameras.
When devices send RTSP uri: rtsp://172.23.21.14:9510/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif, support 3 kinds of track, video&audio&metadata. But milestone cannot receive metadata.
2. If we only change RTSP port to 554, other configurations keep the same, rtsp://172.23.21.14:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif , then it works. Milestone can receive metadata.
Dear Kevin,
it looks as if you are describing an issue between our Recording Server / Driver on the one side, and some ONVIF-camera on the other side.
Also, you describe that the camera does not send any metadata when you change its properties (RTSP port) in the Management Client.
Before we can continue, you should be aware that XProtect only works reliably with cameras which are listed on the page https://www.milestonesys.com/community/business-partner-tools/supported-devices/. Pls confirm that your camera is listed there.
Rgds,
Torsten
